Catfish & Shrimp Fry

Let's have a Fish Fry!! Having grown up in Louisiana, the only thing I'm more familiar with than a fish fry is a Crawfish Boil!

Catfish is the quintessential Southern favorite for a fish fry, but I like to add shrimp to make sure everyone is happy! And only wild Louisiana shrimp will do. (There is a difference.)

In Louisiana, we have special remoulade sauce that we use for fried seafood.

In addition to the fried catfish and shrimp, we can also add:

  • Grilled or Fried Chicken, for those who don't eat seafood.
  • Crawfish Etouffée with Rice
  • French Fries or Onions Rings (both from scratch)
  • Fried Okra
  • Cole Slaw
  • ​Collard Greens
  • Corn on the Cob
  • Garden Salad
  • Oysters on the Half Shell, hors d'oeuvre

No group too small for a fish fry! And we can handle up to 100 guests, depending on circumstances. Larger groups of 30+ may require a server or bartender (additional fee).

This is an outdoor activity, where I prepare and fry everything on site. We'll need to make sure I have access to an outdoor location where potentially stained concrete or damaged grass is not a problem and I'll need to be well away from the traffic of your guests.


Fee varies depending on what we're serving and what's involved. But a basic fish fry for 30, with catfish, wild Louisiana shrimp, fries, cole slaw and greens, and a server, will cost about $1,100.
